Default How to create a new breed of animal

My dog Gigi
Start out with an image and then find another animal that is close in color and looking realtively the same direction as the first. Use the selction tool to trace around the head and then copy and paste as a new layer on to the body of the other animal. Make sure to size it proportionatly. crate a new mask layer and begin painting around the edges with black. Use a harder brush for edges around the face. For the finishing touches lower the paint opacity to about 25% and brush areas arund neck to blend the two areas. And you have a new critter

Very nicely done indeed, it looks like some mythical animal from Harry Potter , couldn't resist posting this one, done with the liquify tool, not my idea it was from a tutorial...

That first one is not a new animal, I saw one around my bird feeder yesterday

Nice job!
