Default 1st Shot with SLR

This was my first shot with a film SLR (Age 10 with a Nikon FM10), I didn't know what I was doing, my sis (pictured) directed me (it was on full manual !)

My objective wasn't to "fix" the photo nor to create a new one, I simply wanted to adjust some minor settings since my sister's darkroom skills were still developing

Before

After some Levels (played with grey midtones to get darker hair)

And a slightly tighter crop on the right and bottom to make her less in the middle and to make it more "intimate"

Used the spot healing tool to fix small errors in developing

After

Nicely done. Film always has a special quality to it that sets it apart.
