Default Swiss valley

One of my friends had been to the Swiss for a vacation. Seeing this pic, I thought would make a good candidate for the "Before and After" thread.

Here's what I did.
1. Used the "burn-in" script available in GIMP.
2. Changed the gray value to a lighter value.

Here are the before and after pics.

The PP really made a difference, have you also tried photoshops autoadjustments? it would be nice to see which one performs better

thanks Agata & josealb.
josealb: I haven't tried the autoadjustments. It'd be a good idea to check that out n see the difference..

Great shot to show the difference.

Get your friend to invest in a Haze filter: it'll get rid of that white "film" that is on his pictures.

Thats a nice recovery. You can try getting rid of that blue cast using "Color-balance" adjustment layer..

Good job!!
