Default Fairy Oil Painting

Step 1: Take picture

Step 2: Edit with PS CS2 - wings and sparkles are brushes from HERE

Step 3: Used Corel Painter 8 program to give oil painted effect

Close up od oil painted effect

I took the picture with my Nikon 5700. You wouldn't think it would turn out as well as it did... sure surprised me. This little one is my neighbors kid and I have been taking their portraits since she was a baby. They are my guinea pigs when I want to try a new technique. I used Corel Paint to oil paint it!! This is one of my MOST favorite projects I have ever done.

That deserves pride of place on a printed canvas in their house!

Excellent work.

I love it. Were the wings pasted on as an image and then painted?

Yes... I did all my editing first using Photoshop CS2. Then I opened it up in Corel and did my magic with it!! If you want to see what that file looks like just let me know and I will post it too!

And YES I really want to get this on canvas... but there is never any money left at the end of the month!!
