Before:
![]() After: ![]() Olympus e410 Shutter Speed: 1.5 f Stop: f/22 ISO 400 focal length: 21mm I brightened the darks and shadows and darkened the highlights. I also increaed the contrast a little. Is there anything else I can do? I tried increasing the red channel a little but it started looking fake. What do you guys think of the picture? |

It may just be me, but I can't see the difference between these pics. Are these not the same?
And as for the shot itself - and forgive me if I have missed what you wanted capture - the three feature elements: the bridge, rocks and water -just don't "fit" especially in this portrait mode. The water flowing "out" of the bottom of the frame leads my eye out of/away from the picture. I don't mean to be critical but I first chose to view your shot and not comment. Then came back again as I thought you would like some feedback - and that is what we try to give each other here at DPS. Perhaps you could share what you wanted to capture in this shot? |

I believe you were trying to lighten the shadow under the bridge. That came out fine but, then the upper right hand corner became overexposed. Do you know how to work with 2 images and blend them together get a good overall exposure?
