Default Bad hair day on a good day

She's is of course my favorite subject, and given the wonders of static electricity, I couldn't help but shoot this.

Close to sunset and shot in RAW. I shoot exclusively in RAW so I can open up Photoshop (forgive me, Adobe Photoshop) and do this:

Temperature- 4950
Tint- +5
EV- +0.5
Shadows- 0
Brightness- 60
Contrast- +5
Saturation- -1

I think that you did a really good job of lightening this picture up, and it definitely looks better in the second version because you can see her hair standing up. My only thing is that the second version feels sort of washed out... Really good pic overall though.

I agree. the first had better contrast, but the second has better color.

I love the pic. my hair does the same thing when I'm crawling through the playground tubes.

I fit! They're not that small! and besides, I'm only 20... which is, you know, real close to ten.

...a few months ago...

I agree.

I like the detail within the tube. Maybe masking the front of the tube may have helped? I don't know - I am not sure of the techniques involved - new to Photoshop.

A very good picture, though.
