Default Playing with the eyes

I took this the other day of my daughter and I had a bit of play with it. I was trying to bring out her eyes a little bit and tone down the rest.

Original:


After:
Girl and her duck

Steps, maybe not be in exact order:
- Sharpened first layers
- Blurred duplicate layer, masking out the eyes
- Increased saturation of the sharpened eye layer
- Decreased saturation of the blurred body layer
- added slight warming filter
- cropped

Great shot!

Get closer or Crop closer. Hard to see the editing that was done to enhance eyes.

Job well done, i really like the edited version. Its enhanced but not over done. Great job!

It's a really good photograph. If the eyes are truly your goal as primary subject, you might consider this crop, and a little more contrast:
