Default photoshopped tiltshift.

cropped then http://recedinghairline.co.uk/tutorials/fakemodel/ followed the instructions. (cs2). then i adjusted the levels and played with the curves until i found the colors i felt looked best. Any constructive criticism would be great.

Well, the effect typically works better if the viewpoint of the photo is looking down from above (since that's typically how you end up viewing a real miniature). Aerial photos or photos take from a second story are typically better candidates than photos taken at street level.

i defiantly agree with you. i just learned the effect and haven't had a chance to get any decent aerial photos just yet. If only i had a helicopter...

Nicely done. Funny, I've never seen it applied down the middle like that though. I like it.

I really like this... even though it's a departure from normal tiltshift technique. You took a not-so-great shot and made it great. Very cool.
