Flying into the Picture

I wanted to give these two geese room to fly into the picture. I also wanted to correct the composition based on the rule of thirds. I used PSE6 for PP.
I considered moving the two birds further apart. I'll' let anyone that reads this post decide. Leave the pic as is or separate the geese more.

Cropped geese from original photo. Used different background. Blurred background. Pasted the geese into new background. Corrected exposure, contrast and saturation.

I like the composition better in the after one. But I'm not sure about the sky, there seems to be some sharp edges in the clouds where you've added them at the top and a rather dark spot to the right of the first bird. I would maybe try cropping a little closer in order to just clone out the bird wing and not add so much extra. ??
