Default Rainbow In Tully

I hope it's not a problem to post a link to my blog for the explanation of how I processed the following photo to achieve the result below.

Here's the link to my blog entry on how I processed this photo.
http://dorkyphotographer.blogspot.co...-in-tully.html

I realize the result is far from realistic. I like the look for this photo. Most of the time, I'll go for realistic, but I can't help liking the rich colors. Feel free to comment on my photo and make suggestions on my process. If you think it's gaudy, I'd like to know. I'm trying to learn what works and doesn't work.

I like the original better.. sry.

It's one thing to increase blue levels on a blue sky with white clouds.. but nothing about that pp'd image looks real now, no blue sky has blue clouds..heh And there is a radioactive glow where the grass meets the sky.. as if a nuke just went off in the next town..

Thanks, bubbabyte. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I'll gather from the lack of response that not many other people care too much for it. I changed the title to "Nuked Horizon, AKA: Rainbow In Tully".

I like what the process can do to photos, I just have to be careful to not overdo it. I was experimenting with it on that one, and though the results are unrealistic, I still like it. Before I print it, I'll see if there's much I can do to bring down the halo effect on the horizon and whiten those clouds up some.

bubbabyte is correct. The grass looks very vivid. Clouds look unnatural too. We will be watching on what you will do next to make it more real.

Thanks
