I like it! I like how the reflections in the water pop in the edited version. Great job!

I was afraid I had overdone the saturation. I originally did this on my laptop (which has a horrible monitor), and when I looked at it on a different monitor I had to back off the saturation so it didn't glow in the dark:-)

Default excellent example thanks

I just repeated all of your steps on a similar photo someone sent me tonight of a river and bank - it came out beautifully. I often use picasa for fill light, cropping, red eye etc, but have never used it as much as this. I have a whole new respect for it!

I like the overall result except the top of the sky. It looks a bit purple to me. It could be my monitor though.

I like the end result very much, except for the sky that is a tad bit oversaturated for my taste. The foreground however looks amazing.

Good job!

I'm not crazy about the purple either. If you look in the before pic, there is a thin band of clouds at the top of the pic which, because it was sunset, have a pink tint to them. I tried using a graduated tint to make them disappear but ended up instead with the purple band in the sky. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open:-)
