Hi DPS-ers. I'm new here. This is my first post. I just got a Canon G9 and am playing around with new and old shots.
Going through some of my random travel shots, I thought this shot might make a good B&W images. For the first B&W, I just used Photoshop to desaturate and then adjusted the curves, levels and contrast/brightness. After that I created a vignette through a levels layer mask. For the second B&W, I flattened the first one and then created an Orton Effect with layers in Photoshop. My gf and I disagree on which one looks better. What do you think? And what would you do different? Thanks for your comments. Adrian My Travel Website with plenty of non-professional pictures. |
