Default London

Here is a photo of a typical day that I had when I was in London.

"Typical" London

And then I wanted it to look really old, kind of like a Jack the Ripper kind of day, so I, cropped and straightened, converted to B/W, added some noise, scratched up the photo and then added a vignette and this is what I ended up with. What do you think about the conversion?

old London copy

Very good. Not only is it more visible, but it does have that old feeling of a movie news reel (20s 30s)

It looks great! How did you "scratch" the picture? I have tried to do the old timey edits to photographs, but I can't figure it out completely.

The scratching up is actually a plug-in that I bought... But I am sure there is a way to do it - I will look on youtube and see if I see anything...
