Default The Power of Photoshop

and lightroom... i can't imagine any other program having this much power.

Original Out of camera shot.. no editing.

After some heavy photoshoping to remove blown out highlights.

Final product, sharpened, vignette, gave it more of an Erie feel.

It's amazing how PP can save so many shots from improper metering and exposures. Nice job on bringing out the colours and sky detail.

nice job. I personally prefer the second, but the last one is nice too. What did you do to bring back the highlights?

with this one i had to do alot of work.. with cuves and exposure. But if you're familiar with photoshop or even better Adobe Camera Raw.. then the easiest way to remove blown out highlights is to use the recovery control in camera raw. Even if you have to bump up the recovery all the way, save the image, load it again in camera raw and bump it up again. That usually corrects and helps adjust highlight issues, but this one was pretty extreme and required some extra adjustments.
