Default Maternity Sneak Peek

I saw this in a pregnancy photography book and wanted to try it. First, I took pictures of the mom about a month before delivery.

Then I took a picture of the baby a week after. Cut around her in photo software (I actually used Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus), softened the edges, decreased the opacity and placed her Mom's belly. Here's what I came out with.

I was pleased with the results.

Interesting idea. How did your client like it?

No reply yet. She has 7 kids (4 adopted under 5...AMAZING woman) and she just moved. I think she'll like it though. I tried it on another picture with her 6 kids around her and it was a bit of a creepy effect. I liked this one better.

This is neat, however, I would not use it all the time.. the thought of how beautiful pregnancy belly pics are usually what the clients seem to like.. but neato effect.. nice.
