I'd say so. You've recovered some detail from the shadows and greened up those greens too. Nice job and nice shot to begin with.

I like how you kept the sky, which I really liked. Good job bringing out the detail on the shadows and the leaves on the trees.

I do like the second one, especially the gradient in the sky. Did you use a filter? If so, what type, if you don't mind me asking?

the second one really IS better. But I am confused - why does the photo still look sharp if a glacian blur was added?

@chip: I used a circular polariser.

@ private: I'll leave it to the more techy types to explain why putting a blur layer on your picture sharpens it. I just know that it works.
