Default Soccer




Hi! Not new to image processing itself, but am new to actually making things disappear and more advanced things like levels and such. So, here's a photo where my son is having a good time. First, I cropped the image to 9X12, then I started to use the healing tool to get rid of the rest of the little boy in royal blue. I picked a spot on the right side of the image and started healing from that, but realized I had a very noticeable line there. I highlighted the entire area and applied a gaussian blur to it, similar to the blur that was already in the trees. This really did the trick. I didn't do any colour or saturation fixes, really just made two little boys disappear

I don't know if there was an easier way to accomplish what I did, but that's how I did it, and I think it turned out really great and I'll probably get prints now of this picture of my son. He looks happy

He does look happy - you can use a soft edge brush when you are cloning that way it will belend better with the rest of the photo. Hope that helps...
