Smile Pikes Peak, CO

I was in Colorado for July 4th weekend and got a chance to take some beautiful landscape pics. I tried to do some tone mapping using qtpfsgui. I tried not to over do it.

Before

ISO: 200
Exposure: 1/60 sec
Aperture: f/22.0
Focal Length: 24mm
Flash Used: No

After
PikesPeak01

Qtpfsgui 1.9.2 tonemapping parameters:
Operator: Mantiuk
Parameters:
Contrast Mapping factor: 0.1
Saturation Factor: 2
------
PreGamma: 1.1

Comments always welcome

It seems you were able to get a lot more detail out of the shot, particularly on the mountain.

Yes. I liked the way detail came out and didn't look over done. I just had trouble keeping the right side a bit greener. Any adjustments would turn it black and I didn't want that. I had to look at the original and keep comparing.

Oh yea and I remember adjusting some color balance to give a bit earthy feel

Pikes Peak area is quite beautiful. I see it nearly every day. You did a nice job getting more detail out of the clouds and the far off range
