Default My dog Lucy...

Had the camera out to snap some shots and took a shot of the dog (before). Obviously not a great shot with the laundry, chairs and whatnot in the background.

Did a crop, bit of curves to create a bit more contrast and then used Adobe LigthRoom's antique greyscale preset (gives the sepia-look but isn't sepia). Sent it out to Photoshop and added a texture layer of some antique paper (opacity set to 10%). Brought back to lightroom for some more curve and it's done.

Looks like I still have a few minor artifacts to clear out and I might do a final conversion to actual greyscale so that it fits with some other prints I have at home.

Adorable dog! I really like the dof you created and cropping, but I'm not so sure on the sepia and textures. I'm not a big fan of sepia so that's just a personal bias , but the textures seem to distract from the dog. I would keep it in color (the highlight on his forehead it delicious!) or go b/w. Great capture though!

What a cutie!!! I like the cropping and the sepia (although maybe a bit much) but I'm not fond of the texture, it looks like reflection on your lens or something. JMO, and it's fun to play around isn't it!?!
