Default Dead trees in the water

Here is the before:

Here is the after:

reflecting trees

Pretty obvious Photoshop: b/w adjustment, grain filter, surface blur filter.

The first is a bit serene, the second a bit ominous.

i like the B&W and the PP that was done.. however i think by cutting the tree top off you took alot of feeling out of the picture.. and plus the sky would have looked nice in B&W as well.

Interesting PP. Looks like it came from an old text book.

I do like the original better though. Great colours and clarity.

I'm a sucker for the feel of B&W, so I am drawn a bit more to the second one.

I would experiment with the cropping a bit to see what you can do. But, don't be fooled - you have a very nice shot as-is in both cases.
