Default Enhancing flowers

Today I wanted to modify some flowers so I went out and took this picture of these pink flowers and started to edit them without any spesific goal on my mind.

Shooting parameters:

Tv: 1/6Sec.
Av: F3.5
Metering Modes: Evaluative metering
ISO Speed 200
Lens EF-S10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Focal Length 10,0 mm
Image Quality RAW
Flash Off
White Balanc Auto

Before:
Kukkapenkki B

After:
Kukkapenkki A

Workflow:
1. Cropping and adding unsharpen mask
2. Making layer from flowers
3. Flowers layer set to multiply
4. Channel mixer: removing red channel
5. Brightness +64, contrast +5
6. Making two layers from leafs only -> Opacity
7. Color burning to some of the leafs

Now try that on a rose and you'll have the (so far) botanically impossible and much sought after blue rose!

How did you make your flowers layer?

Heh

I just made one layer of flowers by using magnetic lasso (+ normal lasso) and refine edge/feather to aquire smoother edges.

Setting newly created layer to multiply 100%.

Adding Channel mixer (adjustment layer) and changed red channel parameters from 100% to -7% (red color)

On top of these layers I added Brightness/contrast (adjustment layer) with parameters Brightness +64 and contrast +5

Thats it

I also added some more info about taking the picture to my first post
