Default Trona Pinnacles

Before:

After:

Sentinel

Shot with a Nikon D50 and the 18-200mm VR lens. Exposure: 1/3200 sec Aperture: f/4.5 Focal Length: 36 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: 1/3 EV

In post processing, adjusted white balance, black, brightness, and contrast using Adobe Camera RAW. In Photoshop, added more contrast, lightened shadows, and converted to Lab Color before adjusting color saturation. Lastly sharpened and cropped.

Did you use a polarizer by chance? The corners of the sky (top) look slightly darker, and as you didn't mention applying a vignette in PP.... Or perhaps you used spot metering? Hmm......

Forgot that part. Yeah... added a slight vignette too. No polarizer filter.
