Default Ghostly walk

I was bored last night and couldn't sleep so I broke out the CS3 and old files....

I started with this photo from the Rocky River Reservation.
path

I had already created an eerie type shot like you would see in a horror movie where the girl runs and trips over a tree root or something cliche like that...
here is the transformed version from a few weeks ago.....
Walk with me....

On this one I used the cross processing curve adjustments to get the greenish hue to the shot. Then upped contrast.
After that I used a small bit of blur to give it the disoriented feeling.
Then applied a scratched texture.

and last night I though of trying to add a ghost to the image or a something along those lines....here is what I came up with in my tired state of mind..
ghostly walk

This is just a silhouette shot that I had of my nephew and grabbed it and laid over it and erased around where I thought it needed erased.
I know i need to redo it though after a second look......i think i can find a better shot that this one to use as the ghost.....just a look at how my tired mind works!

Thanks for the comment...im not even really sure where I am going with this...lol!
I definitely like the middle shot without the ghost image but think I can get a better shot and use as a ghost image....or even a photo of me looking back with the ghost image behind me.....I might work on that today....give it a paranoia look.....

Your work is always awesome. That white patch in the middle of the 3rd pic is distracting. Without it the pic will look better I think.

I agree prince....thats part of the reason for saying I can get a better image....
I'm playing with it right now to add me looking back as if I am paranoid.....
should work okay and look pretty cool.....

Looking good. Very creative, turns an ordinary pic into something extra.
I find the diagonal scratch on the left side somewaht distracting.
I think maybe a border and a vignette might be a bit of overkill.
I look forward to your next version!

Its the middle pic for me Pinball - kewl stuff.

And if you rework the "ghost" I'd suggest keeping it very, very feint and blurred.

.....and when you can, please get around to letting us in on how you did this.
