Smile Blinds

Here is something I came up with while playing around with the original photo.
Before
See attachment

After
Blinds

It gives a subtle effect. Lot of times I tend to overdo the effects but I guess this time it came out just about right.

Feel free to read more about the image at my blog.

Comments always welcome

Thanks.

How did you manage to make the blinds look like it is getting narrower and narrower? Did you take it from the side view or you made that effect when you using photoshop to edit it? It looks really artistic when it looks like stairs.

Yes I took it at an angle. I was walking in my living room and noticed the light piercing through the blinds. Ofcourse I didn't manage to capture it exactly the way I saw it, but when I composed the shot and looked in the LCD, I realized that taking at an angle and converging the blinds made it a better shot.

Then when I post processed the photo, it gave a stairs kinda effect too, which I found very interesting.

Thanks for the comment
