Default Distracting Background Removal

So I bought my first car, a 2008 Mazdaspeed Mazda3. Loads of fun, 263 horsepower, 6 speed, sport suspension, limited slip differential, the works.

Anyway, I drove it down to the lake to take some photos of it while it was new. I really liked how this one turned out, but the poles that the docks are tethered to (so that the lake levels can rise and fall and the docks arent flooded) were really distracting. I used photoshop 7.0, primarily the clone tool (sometimes with a defined edge brush and sometimes with a blurred edge brush), and the sharpen tool where the blurred edges were too noticeable. There was a small amount of freehand drawing done to try and get rid of visibly redundant areas.

edit: and now that i look at it, ill get rid of that tree branch too

Looks Good. How about removing the docks as well. I find them distracting from the car.
Nice wheels

Definately a nice touch - some people try to take too much out of a shot, but I think you found a great balance, leaving the docks in there.
