Default Awkward pose to stylish silhouette!

Before:
before

After:
ready to go

How I did it?
I cropped the image first because Rachel's legs were in an awkward position, and there was a lot of mess in the dorm room. Plus the CDs on the door really shone in the sun and it was a very natural crop. I lowered the levels a little bit and adjusted the curves as well. Because of the naturally harsh lighting it made sense to go ahead and mess with it to the point of exaggeration. I liked the way it looked.

What do you think? Would you have cropped it/processed it differently?

I really like the stylish sillouette. I like the colors and the crop also. Great job!! The dark colors really work well. I like how the flowers on the desk? in the background are really bright in the edited photo as well.

great job!!!

That is a totally new picture. Nice job with the levels on this. The blue on the desk pops a bit more now with the darkened areas.

Oh, wow. I really like the second photo. I think you did a good job cropping it. The light makes the silhouette look really interesting, especially since you left some color in the background so that it's not too light and not too dark.

Default Go For It!

Hey this is great! You need to do a whole Series of these with silhouettes ...about life happenings, relationships..whatever! But keep these bright shiny surroundings! Awesome! This could be a great treatment for a fashion layout or music video!!

I like all the post processing you did, but I would crop it where at the center of the windows, the second window to me does nothing for the pic and is almost a distraction(making the people less of a focal point), also, keeping in the rule of thirds, the couple are just too centered.......

I was unsure at first. But then studied it more. I like it. The over brightness of the window is hard for me to get used to but it is a nice shot. Looks very 50's to me..... but I like!!
