Exclamation From Graveyard to A Fairy Tale - xtreme makeover

Well i had this original shot: which was crap, overexposed a bit out of focus, so i though i play around with and transform in into something happy joyful and colorfull!

How can i put how i did this?
-Final product was about 500MB size file, 75layers 2½h of work
-New layer playing with gradients, clouds, layer properties
-Applying doge and burn, creating "light" effects, by using the pen tool and hte ellipsis toll, filling it in playing with the layer properties till i was happy
-I had some fairies in there which i sketched out but they just didn't look good! so i took them away (wasted time :P) but now i got some sketches of fairies instead
-I cant even remember half of the things i did (LOL)
-I did some brushes as well from scratch to create the scattered effect that you can see under the trees.

Well i promised a tutorial ands its going to come, i used the same "technique" so to speak on this image as i used on my other image (see this thread) I m going to write a long tutorial before summer, because i got exams coming up and loads of free time which i dont spend studying, but playing around with photoshop!

*RANT ON*
I think i should start reading some, but it feels as if knw it all (feels like i m gifted when it comes to understanding economics and its principal)
*RANT OFF*

what do you guys think? i mean its a total different image, would be nice if this existed in reality tho!

this is more of a show off thread then anything

all the best,

Alex

I actually like the first photo a lot - but the second is pretty dang whimsical. I love bold colors, almost to the point of decreased image quality.
