Default First Family Shoot

Ok, after getting some critique on one of the shots from this shoot, I wanted to try some more editing and started over. I tried to reduce luminance and a slight saturation along with lowering the reds and oranges, to create more separation between the faces and the wall. I also boosted the contrast slightly and did some spot healing on their faces. Any comments and advice are welcomed! Thanks for looking!

Although it's not perfect, I like the before better. The after has a very weird green tint to it and the skin tones are washed out and a little unrealistic looking. I don't use Lightroom (Photoshop fan) so I can't give you any advice on what to do as I don't know the program. Maybe someone else can chime in on that one.

What a fun picture! You did a great a job. Is this your family? I do like the one you edited more than the original. My only suggestion is to warm it up a little bit. It looks a little too cool right now. I know you desaturated it a little bit, which I think it needed the orangy color removed. But I'd warm it a little more.

I've never been a fan on tan backgrounds.
