Default Sky replacement, greener grass

Had to do a sky replacement and green the winter grass for a shoot.

Sky I shot the next day at my house. Used the Blend if method and a little masking, along with levels adjustments to blend the sky in (How to Replace a Sky in Photoshop)

Grass I sampled what green grass there was, then set the brush to 'color' and painted in the new grass. I did in the final for the client add a little burn to the grass in the background to darken it more to look more natural

Im sorry but theyve both been sharpened way too much. The green grass, in part because of the excessive sharpening, looks toy-like.
This almost looks like a photoshop filter.

Actually, what it is I took the individual jogs and combined them onto one image, then re-saved them as a more compressed jpg

but yes, I sharpen all my finals using 2 pass USM in PS

Well you did something to them; they've got some very weird artifacting, be it from compression or sharpening, but my guess is a bit of both, with sharpening being the main culprit.
