Default music festival low light

i used curves to adjust , unsharp masked , does it look real or too much?

The first one appears to be a bit to sharp. You may want to back that off a bit with shots that show mainly the face. It just brings out to much detail.

Was this Gov't Mule? That second pic is Warren Hayes. He plays in numerous bands. One heck of a guitar player too, I might add.

Please note that this section is for before and after on ONE image (see rules). Your second image link was broken anyway, so I have removed one and two and left three and four. Also, as everywhere on the site, images should be 600px at most on the longest side (not about 640 and 800px high). While I am being picky, it is useful to have a bit more information about what you did to the pictures - think "tutorial", not "another chance to get a critique).

That all said, I think your processing works well here. If anything, though, it lifts the guitarist too much out of the background. If the light was that bright, you would expect to probably see some more background as well. I might tone it down and soften the edges so the result does not look cut out but it is definitely an improvement on the original.

maybe its the imagesize.. but his arm has become a staricase of pixel blocks
