Default Super Cute kids with pretty eyes

I decided to edit some old pictures I had. I didn't think much of this picture before I edited it but it looks nice afterwards. This is a photoshoot I did of a young family with 3 kids. They were dressed super cute in dresses the Mom made herself. I have more of them on my website in the family section. I don't really care for shooting on a dock because my angles are more limited but I am pleased with how the shoot turned out.

So edits:
1. Sharpen
2. Adjust contrast and brightness.
3. Increase saturation
4. High pass filter over the eyes, nose, lips and bits of hair
5. Straighten and crop
(I think I may have softened the skin just slightly also.)

1/125 sec.
ISO 100
115 mm
f 5.6
no flash

Nice job.
Pity about the odd hand in the foreground.

I like how the crop made the girls face the focus. It does get confusing with the hands but a good shot overall.

Thankyou for the comments. Yes the hand is distracting.

I was wondering if you used Lightroom or another program? I love the picture and was not sure, in Lightroom, how to do the high pass filter? If anyone can let me know or point me in the direction of another forum topic, that'd be great. I'm very new to all of this and only briefly toy with Lightroom, without any rhyme or reason to what I'm doing

Thanks.

I used DPP and elements. I've never used lightroom, sorry.
