Did I edit too much? Does she look fake in the second picture? I've been using photoshop for a while but I'm still just a teenager so I feel like it still looks amateur-ish!

I think your edit looks pretty darn good. If you hadn't have post the before I wouldn't have guess you did much to it.

I really like this as well! Don't feel that your age has anything to do with it Did you try playing with any levels to see if you could get the redness of her face down a bit? Other than that, well done!

I wouldn't call it too much, it's nicely done, and if anything keeping the looping hair on the left in the shot makes it look as if you haven't photoshopped much (as in " if they were photoshopping it, surely they'd removing that hair").
