If the before is the one on the left, I like it better.

The smoothing looks pretty natural to me!

It might be a trick of the light but his eyes seem to be different colors.

I guess, for me, the question is: why are you smoothing his skin to begin with? To see if you can?

AcePhoto, I saw your critique to a post recently by Obijuan. I came to see your work to see if you have merit to critique others work. I concluded you don't.

Well I don't know if the one on the left is the before or after, but I like it best.

Not to offend anyone but I don't think it is fair to say someone shouldn't critique others work. Granted his recent critique was in the SYS section not the critque section. But I think everyone has different views, different styles and different advice. I know when I post a image in the critque section I want everyones opinion. I will however, follow up by looking at their work if I disagree with their critique and if their work is not at my level or they have a different style I take it with a grain of salt. I still appreciate the time they put in to giving me their view.

I really don't think we should start making people feel uncomfortable to critique unless their work is absolutley amazing.

I'm sorry, but that is just a kinda mean thing to say, IMO. I think he did a nice job on this edit. And everyone has a right to give critique!

And you do?

That was just a plain and simple mean remark.

I take the same view as dmann; I appreciate EVERYONE'S critique, regardless of their own style of photography.
