Nice job. On my monitor it looks like you might have pulled a bit too much reds back. The BG has gone a little green. And I'm seeing a lot of color artifacts in the BG, maybe due to resizing/conversion for posting here.

Thanks Steve... right now your guess is as good as mine. I really need to invest in a calibrator, it just chaffs me to spend the money on something I will use twice a year. I look at the images on 5 different monitors & a playbook and pretty much try to get a color balance that looks ok on all of them. Yup, none to scientific at all. Is your monitor calibrated? On this one, still a little red, but looks good on my main monitor and playbook. I guess I had better breakdown and buy a calibrator.

yes, my monitors (Mac) are calibrated.
I've tried a few and the best IMO is color eyes diplay pro with spyder 3 sensor (better results than with the spyder program)

Looks a tiny touch, though i wouldn't necessarily change it, green in the BG. Just the slightest bit.

I use my calibrator at least once a month but the calibrating software reminds me to recalibrate every two weeks. It's annoying since it will keep popping up the message to recalibrate every time the computer is booted up, it wont stop until I recalibrate. So basically it might be worth the investment since it is recommended to recalibrate often, more than twice a year.
