Looks good. I've found that using layer masks has helped me tremendously when trying to fix bright skies/dark foregrounds. I prefer blending the exposures to HDR the vast majority of the time. I use that technique on most of my shots now.

Why don't you at least get a decent travel tripod, so you'll be more likely to bring it? That way, you can bracket your shots and have more leeway to address the dynamic range issue.

Have you used this tripod? I was actually looking at it last night, but was a little hesitant. So far I haven't had much luck with travel tripods - they have all been disappointingly flimsy. A personal recommendation would be good.

I have an old tripod that I have been using (yeah I do - once in a long while when I don't have to carry it around) for over 25 years. It works well, but, as you may have figured out, I hate to carry it - especially when in Disney World.I was planning on bringing it this time, but if you can give me a personal recommendation for the one above, I will certainly consider it.
