First post-
I used the basic lomo lesson to do this, with the exception of the cross-processing technique which I omitted and replaced with a scratch-template I made by scanning a destroyed blank print. This was shot on the side of old U.S. Route 66, en-route to California from Cleveland on a trip with my friends with our graduation money. I have a '79 Plymouth Duster, so I modified the license plate to match a 1979 Ohio plate, then rubber-stamped out all sign posts to put focus on the Texas sign. The Jimmy Carter bumper sticker is original from election 1980. The basic idea was to set the picture in 1979 or '80. |

The colors are way too saturated and bright for my taste and that makes it a little hard to look at the photo for more than a few seconds. It also takes away from the vintage look, IMO. If you would've made the colors a little more faded, it would've had more of an old time feel.
I do like the use of the texture though. |

awesome job man. i love the texture and the saturation both. didn't some types of older "toy" cameras over-saturate, which would keep it in line with the vintage feel? love it. i really want to try this now.
