Hi PhoenixGB,
Nice work and Shisha is gorgeous. Just one thing to say.
Cigar or cigarette flamed only when we inhaled and here the cigar was out from Shisha's mouth. Hope I make my point clear.

First let me say that you have done well and your edit is nicely done in a artsy way which is what you had in your mind. Nicely expressed.

Me personally, I don't think you needed to go that far to make an impact with your image. The model has a visceral connection with the camera and it can be seen in her eyes. So my thought was to edit the image to bring her eyes into dominance within the frame. Also, the open mouth with smoke in it is extremely powerful imagery and should also be brought out. With those thoughts in mind I cropped and manipulated the image to arrive at this expression.

If you wish it to be removed just let me know and I will do so.

Jim

I really like this idea for a Portrait, and I also think that it has come off quite well.
The soft focus really seams to suit this image too, as it has greatly enhanced the Model.
All of this is a big plus.

Yes and I will have to agree with the others about the Cigar tip, I would like to see a little less of the glow and a little more of the burnt ash.

I would also like to see a little more smoke rolling up past the face.

And finally I will agree with one of the other members,

I like the edit. It really brings out some nice shadows on her face.

Me, I couldn't get past the fact that she's about 2 weeks overdue on a manicure..

For the full crop leave it color, for the selective highlight id crop down to highlight the cigar itself with the womans mouth being just a fraction of whats in frame.
