Default Gray day

Hello all just looking through some of the summer shot and this one came up.
what else can I do to take this to the next level or is it already there ??.



this is what I have done so far.

It appears to me to have too much negative space. The focal point of the photo is not on a power point.

I'm thinking the angle is too high, causing too much water to the horizon. If you had shot from a lower angle, I think it would have made a better shot.

Default My angle

I think you always have to ask yourself, what am I saying by making the umbrella colorful on an otherwise grey day - is it just a cool gimmick, or do you want to say something with it?
