Default conversion from color to b/w, cropped to square, some contrast - eh voila!

resting on the roof

i think the b/w is so much more intense than the original. i almost wanted to delete the photo because it didn't do much for me, but in b/w, square and with more contrast i really love it.

I'm not a professonal but I do like the look of the black and white as well. I like how you cropped the image in more on her.
