Not bad...I would say to go ahead and use a tool like the sponge tool to desaturate all of the extra reds that are throughout the photo that aren't in the shorts, especially in the skin tones.

Otherwise, nice shot and subject!

yay more selective red. I think it would look better just black and white. selective color usually just looks cheezy, but as far as your crop, i do like the 2nd better.
