Default 礼文島 (Rebun island)

Clouds over 礼文島 (Rebun island) Japan, at sunset.
This is not exactly digital photography but a scan of an old school type photo I took in 2000, July, in northern Japan (Rebun island one of the most northern islands that are not contested with Russia). The original was in bad shape and I had to do a lot of restoration.

The process is described in a post I just made in the critique forum:

Before (not found in my public photos at zooomr):

After:
礼文島

At first look, it almost looks like you cropped it ever so slightly. I also like how you can see more of the detail in the water, but it still doesn't take away from the clouds. Great job!

Nope, no crop. Thanks for the nice feedback. I added a larger link in the desc. now, BTW

Thanks again

Nice job pulling out details from the harbor without losing the clouds.

Great shot, the cloud is wonderful. Personally .. I would crop it a little more and remove the light pole, leaving the natural beauty of that 'awsome cloud, the mountains and water .. a great combination.
