Default Before & After - Mini Cooper

Here's a photo I took of my car a year ago when I first got my DSLR.
I recently found it and decided to do something with it to kill some spare time!

The only editing program I used was "Aperture 3" from those lovely guys from Apple!

These are a list of things I done to the image to get the result.

-Straighten.
-Sharpen.
-Turned everything else but the car black & white.
-Added a bit of blur around the car.
-Added a vignette.

I think that's it!

And now for the before and after photo:

Thanks for reading :-)

Looks really nice!! much better!! The only thing I would do differently is I would work on getting the green out of the reflections in the chrome and lights. That would make it better I think. just a suggestion though.

nice work!

I agree about the green reflection. I know nothing about Aperture, but if you have Photoshop or GIMP or if you can apply this to Aperture, in PS I'd just make an empty layer and paint with a blue brush (sample the appropriate color from the image itself) over the reflection and change the layer mode to Color.

So the outcome would look something like this:

I didn't notice any green reflection. I think it looks great! If you did want to give it more of a
"commercial feel", I would clone out the poles/ wires in the background above the car. I think it looks great though!!
