Not a new subject (see here) for me, but a good one to go back to. Always changing slightly. The originals are shot on AutoWB in RAW and are processed to get the "after". Believe it or not, the originals are fairly close to what the scene looked like at the time: the sun had set and it's entirely in the shade.
Image 1: 35mm, 25s at f/11, 100iso (LO1). Auto WB chose 4650K. Edit brought that up to 7000K, then some colour enhancements (to get the green to pop more and the tones on the stones to create extra contrast), slight vignette, sharpening (High Pass, 1.5px). Original Edited Comparison: ![]() Image 2: 18mm, 25s at f/11, 100iso (LO1). Auto WB chose 4400K. Same process as before. Original Edited Comparison: ![]() Fairly drastic changes. As mentioned, the original shots are fairly close to real life, though I vastly prefer the "Edited" versions. I may experiment some and see if I can get some different effects and looks.

Oh yes..I see the difference clearly, nice, arranging the image side by side. Yes edited version looks more natural. Great photo & process. Hey, but the green in the foreground looks a bit more saturated sorta...may be its just me..who feels it that way??

Well I did mention that I changed the way the green shows up (hue, saturation and luminance) to make it really pop. That was the point. Those leaves are pretty much that colour to begin with.
