Default Portrait, before and after

Lara

Hi everyone! Here's what I did to get this result

1. auto contrast, auto levels.
2. bumped down the red curve, bumped up the blue curve.
3. pro retouch by TRA, eye bump
4. ran high pass
5. created a vignette!

It's my first try at real retouching...any pointers ya'll could give me?

I like it, it's a very good work but the white sky it's getting all my attention, maybe you can crop it a little more or decrease de vignette?

It looks really nice but the white of her eyes glows in the "after" picture and that is distracting. Other than that nice job.

I agree with richardpsic that the white circle effect from the vignette is a little too strong, otherwise a really great edit!

The whites in the after shot are too bright. You also might trying to get ride of that furl between the eyes. You can use the clone tool or the band aid tool to smooth that out!

looks good, my comment would be to watch for the shadows around the eyes.

Looks pretty good, but I think the foreground could be just a tad lighter.

yes...I agree the whites are a little strong...I'll have to remedy that, and the furl is definitely needing some cloning. I love vignettes, so I tend to go vignette crazy! *laughs*

Thanks for the pointers!

i like the boost in contrast but the whites of the eyes are a little too bright and i wish you'd take the opacity down on the vignetting
