Default Fierce

Before

EXIF Data from Flickr
Camera: Nikon D40X
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 200 mm
ISO Speed: 800
Exposure Bias: 0/6 EV
Flash: Flash did not fire

After

What I did. Not too much actually. First I cropped the picture to include just his head since I got lucky and he looked strait at the camera. The picture was obviously taken through bars and I couldn't edit them out so I had to crop fairly tight in order to get those out of the picture.

In Photoshop Elements I increased the saturation and contrast by about 10 and used the unsharp mask slightly. All in all I think I did a good job.

GREAT shot! They are so majestic!! I was able to see baby cubs several years at a wildlife reserve(sort-a). Then, a few years later I went back and he was HUGE, sad, but the others died! I think the close up is purrrfect!
