This is my first post so hang in there with me!
I started by shooting a small 4" Buddha miniature that I had placed in a homemade light box. I used a simple mag light for lighting from the lower right and put the tripod right up next to the box so I could shoot at a smaller focal length. As I am posting this I just realized I lost my original shots with a hard drive crash, so I am uploading one of the origianal HDR obtained through photomatix and then edited in photoshop. I did a lot of work with curves and saturation in photoshop. I came up with two different results and placed them side by side. I then used the airbrush tool to touch up the backgrounds in each shot. The Buddha on the right I desaturated and just hand painted to colors that I liked better. Sorry I can't give more information on the camera settings and so on, but it was a bracketed shot with Rebel xti then HDR'ed for desired results. Let me know what you think, and how do I embed photos inline? It has been a long time since I did any html work. Thanks for looking! Last edited by dmg025; 04-09-2008 at 09:38 PM.
