Default Teen Love in the Daisies

Ok here is my first attempt at this. I took this for my daughter & her "boyfriend". I thought the shot turned out well, but I am open to critique.

I did this about a month or so ago...so I am going from memory. I first lighted it up, but not sure what method I used. I then used the healing brush for blemishes on the boy & for the shadow on the girls arm. I darkened the boys lips a bit, since it was washed out due to the orange flowers & his hair color. I also whitened the girls teeth a tad. I think that is it. Looking at it now...I like the original color better.

some nice subtle healing work done there. I would use an overlay layer on top of that or perhaps a multiply, and adjust the opacity on the top layer, just to bring back that crisp colour of the original shot. Maybe even sharpen it a little.. Cute shot tho, looks like a perfect spot for any romantic couple :-)

It would be good if you could add a bit of discussion about how you actually got to the end product. The rules (in the FAQs) give a few suggestions for how to get started talking about what you did.
Quote:
  1. We'd like these threads to run similarly to the 'How I took it' thread where one person shares both their images but also HOW they got the results that they did. (ie while you're welcome to show off your work we'd like this to be a learning experience where you impart your knowledge on how you got the end result. You don't have to go into massive depth if you don't have the time but the more you can share the more we'll all learn.)
  2. To share your photos please start a new thread and post two images (1 'before' and 1 'after'). If you don't know how to post them see this thread.
  3. Please describe the process that you used to get from the 'before' shot to the 'after' one.
