Very beautiful in either photo. But if I had to pick one then I would go with the original. Looks real and the details are interesting to me.

I like the edit a lot, but not the colouring in the eyes.

When posing someone like that, just be aware of the hands. He little finger is not in the best spot.

I like your edit. I actually think it is an improvement over the original. I think it gives her skin a bit of a glow.

I [really] appreciate all the feedback. Thanks guys...

@Jamie: I didn't know Suzi Perry but I clicked your Google link and I agree! Also, I looked at your website. LOVE your B&W collection! I also lived in the UK until I moved to the US in 2006. Please send me a photo of some Walkers Crisps and Heinz Beans! ;-)

@gturner. Nice catch on the finger. I love it when feedback leads me to learn something that I will always remember in the future. I also tend to agree with you on the eyes. If I was PP'ing the photo for print, web or client, I would've worked more on it and taken the eyes back a little. My objective here was to show how much difference can be made in a short time (12 minutes) using LR and PPS10.

Thanks also to LeeR for commenting.

What my opinion probably means is that 98% of the viewing public will choose the pp photo. Me, I am sucker for realism and women who look less "finished". My wife has never worn makeup. It is what caught my eye when I first laid my gaze upon her. I think the wrinkles and such make them more beautiful.

Very nice work.
Only wish the eyes were not in this color...
