Default Vanishing Baby

During a "friends only" group shot the little daughter ran into the shot and I somehow missed it.

So I had to push my "mad photoshop skillz" to the max to get rid of the offender.

She even has toenails!, I reconstructed her toes by using the adjacent toes and a few mirrored and skewed images too. I was fortunate enough to have her knee and half her leg in another photo as the baby moved forward so that helped.

possibly one of the most extensive fix-ups i've done for my screw-up

I agree it was a great photoshop technique - well done

Personally, though, I thought it was more interesting when the child was there tugging at her, I assume, is her mother. I thought it gave she gave it a little cute life and story interest to the scene. Although the original needed cropping, indeed, I would have kept the child for human interest.

It's just my personal taste, though, and I'm sure there's a professional reason to remove the little one. I guess if I took that photo, I would have kept a copy with the little girl in it

hmm, Interesting thought!

I figured being a group shot of "friends only" and their other kid was missing from the shot it wasn't a good plan to keep her in there. Plus, it looked like a mess with the back turned.
IMHO it's cleaner and one an focus on the friends faces rather than the whining child. There's plenty other shots of her noming the mothers dress during the Ceremony too.

thanks for sharing your thoughts on it though!

Great work. I am hoping that one of these days I get enough time to settle down and start learning photoshop that well (or at all haha).
