Cool Photography into Art - Photomanipulation

Just thought Id share some of my photoshop work's b4/after
Njoy!

Blind.
"What will you see if you don't look.."

Highly inspired by the song: Beautiful Mind - The Butterfly Effect
The concept behind this piece is that you cannot be close-minded when making art. You have to open your eyes to possibility and creativity.

Hope.
As I embark on the treacherous journey of this year
I am dawning the beginning of a new life for myself
After trials and tribulations of the year past
Struggling to try and break into my career
Finally there is a glimmer of hope
A light at the end of the tunnel
With job prospects finally turning up
I feel my struggle coming to an end
Hope, it seems, is just around the corner

I like both. You have a real artistic eye.

It's good PS work for sure, well done.

However, wouldn't you say photography IS art so how can it be turned into art?

Still, not intending to create a debate, just that the thread topic made me do a double-take.

Well done.

Great work on the second! I don't really prefer the style of the first, but it is okay.

One thing I would say. It would look a lot better if you fixed the little pin-light in the second shot, it distracts.
